Ranveer Singh & Salman Khan In Dhoom: Reloaded

Mumbai: Ranveer Singh is all set to star in the next sequel of Dhoom franchise, Dhoom Reloaded. If all goes well, Dhoom Reloaded: The Chase Continues will have Ranveer as the main lead and if that happens, it will be like achieving yet another milestone for the actor. Reports of Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra being no longer a part of the film is also high.

The film makers are in talks to cast Salman Khan in the lead role too. However, Salman will play the antagonist in the sequel. A source says, “Aditya Chopra wants Dhoom Reloaded to be a film for the youth. Who better to play the dashing hero than Ranveer Singh, YRF’s current blue-eyed boy? Talks are on for Salman Khan to play the negative role so if both get finalized, it will be Salman and Ranveer for India’s most successful franchise.

The franchise has had an interesting line-up of antagonists, which have been played by John Abraham (Dhoom), Hrithik Roshan (Dhoom 2) and Aamir Khan (Dhoom 3). The leading ladies have been played by Esha Deol and Rimi Sen, Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif in that order.

Dhoom Reloaded will begin shooting in early 2017 and will be shot across exotic foreign locales different from Dhoom 3. Vijay Krishna Acharya is expected to direct the fourth Dhoom sequel too (he had directed Dhoom 3). A teaser poster was released in December last year.
