Kolkata: The Higher Secondary results for West
Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), the WBCHSE Result 2016 have
been published today at 10 am. The usual comparison between district and
Kolkata schools has disclosed East Midnapore as the most successful district
with almost 90 percent. Among the total of 7 lakh students who had wrote their
examinations at February, 83.65 percent have succeeded. The increase is almost
1.27 percent in comparison to 2015’s result.
According to the WBCHSE President Mahua Das, female
students scored .46 percent better than last year with 82.86 percent success
rate. Success rate among the male students is 85.11 percent. Reports are that
WBCHSE have declared the results within 76 days. President Das also declared
next year’s examination schedule that will start from March 29, 2017. Also, it
is from this year only when the students will get a grand total of best five subjects
among the all six subjects’ examination they have performed.
Students can check the official website of WBCHSE: wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in
to know their results online. Students only need to submit their roll number
and few other details required to the website. The result will be sent as SMS
at 10 am.
“All the heads of Higher Secondary Institutions or
their authorized representatives are requested to collect HS mark-sheets,
certificates and other relevant documents from their respective Distribution
Camp from 10.30 a.m. onwards on that day and issue the same to conceded
candidates on the same day,” said an official release of WBCHSE.
