Kolkata: A poster claiming heads of three CPM
workers on the Madhya Howrah Byam Samity club
door at Howrah created a terror-borne atmosphere. The poster was handwritten
and was posted on the club door on Tuesday including the names of all three CPM
persons- Jibon Biswas, Shyamal Hazra and Bachhu Mudi. The poster also has set a
time frame of May 19 to 30 to conduct the ‘spine chilling threat.’ The threat
was posted after the exit poll results were out on Monday.
“I woke up at 6 am and saw the poster. There was
evidence of an explosion on the wall of the club and the remains of a crude
bomb were found in a drain,” said Bachhu Mudi. Mudi’s name was mentioned there
in the poster. He is also the secretary of the CPM's Kadamtala (east) branch
committee and lives in a house close to the club.
Reports are that Justice Dipankar Datta had showed his
concerns assuming the post poll violence. He also asserted that law and order
after the condition now reinforce to employ more security personnel after the
poll results are declared on Thursday. “If such attacks can take place after
the polls, it can be presumed that the situation will worsen after the
publication of results,” he said.
