Mumbai:
After taking over the West with a storm, actor and singer Priyanka Chopra has
got another feather to add in her hat. She has been recently named in the list
of 10 Millennial Leaders Around the Globe.
Expressing
her happiness over the same, the 33-year-old actress took to her Twitter handle
and wrote, “So nice to be included in such August company. Thank u @usnews.”
Other
celebrities who have been listed are Malala Yousafzai, Kim Jong Un, Mark
Zuckerberg, Prince William, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Rafael Nadal, Sonita
Alizadeh and Mhairi Black.
On
the work front, the 33-year-old former Miss World is presently shooting for her
Hollywood debut Baywatch, starring
Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, among others.
Last month on April 30, Priyanka dined with
the US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michele Obama at the annual White
House Correspondents’ Dinner, along with Helen Mirren, Jared Leto, Bryan
Cranston, Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, Rachel McAdams, and Tom Hiddleston.
Priyanka is making waves on the international
front, having won ‘Favorite Actress in A New TV Series’ award for Quantico at the 42nd People’s Choice
Awards in January 2016. On March 3, 2016, ABC renewed Quantico for a second season.
She was also one of the award presenters at
this year’s Academy awards.
She was recently honored with Padma Shri –
the fourth highest civilian award in India. Time recently named her one of the
‘100 Most Influential People In The World’.
