Mumbai:
Recovering from a two-month injury, Hrithik Roshan will resume shooting for his
period film Mohenjo Daro this week.
The
42-year-old actor sprained his ankle and tore two ligaments while filming an
action sequence for the epic adventure romance film Mohenjo Daro in January 2016. He was advised a few weeks of rest
and could move around at home only with the help of crutches.
The
film, which is being directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, also stars Pooja Hegde,
Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh in prominent roles. The film is set in the
ancient city of Mohenjo-daro in the era of the Indus valley civilization
that dates back to 2600 BC. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 12
August 2016.
Meanwhile, things are
getting ugly between Hrithik and Kangana Ranaut, as according to reports, the
later was asked to walk out of Aashiqui 3
because of the former. Reportedly, Hrithik sent out a legal notice to Kangana
through his lawyer Deepesh Mehta, alleging defamation. He has asked her to
issue an apology otherwise he would make all her interactions with him public.
According to the notice, Hrithik wants the actress to hold a press conference
and render an apology to him, making it clear that she had not hinted at
Hrithik Roshan as her 'silly ex'. If Kangana fails to comply, he would make all
her correspondence to him public. In reply, The Tanu Weds Manu actor retaliated with a 21-page legal notice,
charging him with intimidation and threat.
