The film, which is being directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, also stars Pooja Hegde, Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh in prominent roles. The film is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro in the era of the Indus valley civilization that dates back to 2600 BC. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 12 August 2016.
Meanwhile, things are getting ugly between Hrithik and Kangana Ranaut, as according to reports, the later was asked to walk out of Aashiqui 3 because of the former. Reportedly, Hrithik sent out a legal notice to Kangana through his lawyer Deepesh Mehta, alleging defamation. He has asked her to issue an apology otherwise he would make all her interactions with him public. According to the notice, Hrithik wants the actress to hold a press conference and render an apology to him, making it clear that she had not hinted at Hrithik Roshan as her 'silly ex'. If Kangana fails to comply, he would make all her correspondence to him public. In reply, The Tanu Weds Manu actor retaliated with a 21-page legal notice, charging him with intimidation and threat.
