Saudi Arabian Women Graduates Seek Online Employment

Women graduates in Asir, Saudi Arabia are looking for private companies to hire them for online jobs which can be done at home. They are also urging businessmen to open new production lines for women in both factories and banks, which would contribute to hiring of female graduates in new fields, and to open new chances for employing women in the region.
The proposals come in line with the recent career exhibition organized by the Abha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where multiple companies offered various jobs to women in the fields of management, marketing, education and health.
Abdullah Al-Zahrani, secretary general of the Abha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the chamber kept the last days of the exhibition for families in order to open up opportunities to female graduates so that they could apply to the various companies that participated in the exhibition.
He confirmed that the closing day witnessed a large number of women attendees. He also added that the Abha chamber wanted to present equal job opportunities to men and women. He said that government policy is supportive of women’s employment.

Since more and more women are now providing for their families in the country, therefore the necessity to offer more opportunities for women in the work-field has risen.  The most preferable jobs for majority of the online women appliers are in the sector of tourism, banks, industries, education and health, although women are also applying in other fields that have so far been completely male dominated.
