She
was invited earlier this month to the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner
hosted by US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. The dinner
will take place on April 30.
Priyanka,
who found global recognition with her character Alex Parrish in the American TV

week, Priyanka was included among Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2016
list. She was one the seven Indians who cracked this year’s list, the others
being Sania Mirza, Sunit Narain, Rahguram Rajan, Sachin Bansal, Sachin Bansal
and Binny Bansal. The list also featured Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Adele,
Usain Bolt, Lewis Hamilton, Nicki Minaj, Karlie Kloss, Denis Mukwege, Ronda
Rousey, Christine Lagarde, Angela Merkel, Donald Trump, Tsai Ing-Wen, Sean
Barry MacFarland, Bernie Sanders, Justin Trudeau, Leonardo DiCaprio, Barack
