Mariah Carey Insures Her Legs And Vocal Chords For $70 million

New York: American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey has a gigantic insurance policy of $70 million in the catastrophic event something happens to her vocal cords or her legs.

The grand total of Mariah’s insurance— $70 million — has her vocal cords covered at $35 million and her legs covered for the same amount. If anything compromised Mariah’s voice or legs, it would result in a massive loss of profits. The five-time Grammy winning singer’s company deemed it wise to insure her assets against any damages.
Mariah’s legs was judged as “Leg’s of a Goddess” by Gillette in 2006 as she fronted their campaigns and considered as the most perfect legs in America while her vocal cords is one of a kind as she can reach a span of five octaves. “A lot of people couldn’t sing through the nodules the way I do. I’ve learned to sing through my vocal cords. It’s a certain part of the cord that not many people use — the very top,” Mariah said.
In 1998, the popular singer explained that her ability to hit many notes was the result of nodules on her vocal cords, which usually decreases a singer’s range.
She is currently on tour and plans to extend it to South America. The total monthly premium is said to be highly expensive, though no details have been revealed, but it was said that it was all worth it. Aside from the extended concert tour, Mariah is said to be preparing also for her wedding to Australian billionaire James Packer.
