BJP to Stop Maitree Express Journey to Dhaka If Violence in Bangladesh Continues, Said WB Party President

Kolkata: The BJP party on Friday asserted that they will hold a protest at the Indo-Bangladesh Benapole-Petrapole border gate and will stop the Dhaka-Kolkata Maitree Express if the violence and killings of Hindus in the neighboring county continues.

As EXIN Times sources has asserted, the move by BJP is a succession of killing of Hindu priests and threatening of Hindu minority in Bangladesh. The party has also organized a rally led by the West Bengal BJP party President Dilip Ghosh to protest the recent spate of violence.
“We have had a good relationship with Bangladesh so far but it will remain so as long as the Hindus there live a secured life. If the brutal killings continue we will start movements at the bordering areas of Benapole and Petropole. We will also stop the Maitree Express” said Ghosh yesterday.
“Why are the intellectuals now maintaining a silence on the killings? Whenever an incident happens in India, they raise a hue and cry. But they are keeping mum on this issue,” asserted Rahul Sinha, BJP national secretary and former state president, referring to silence of ruling TMC party’s silence over the issue.
