Report On Zakir Naik to Be Submitted By Next Week by Mumbai Police

Mumbai: In a recent development the Mumbai police have asserted that they will submit their Dr. Zakir Naik on Dr. Zakir Naik by next week. Mumbai police was asked by the Maharashtra state government to submit a complete report on Naik, who is a declared Islamic preacher and have alleged for addressing provocative speeches.


“The report is in the final stages of preparation and it is likely to be submitted by next week,” said a police officer from Mumbai police department on Friday. He also added that the department would have submitted their report earlier this week, but the arrest of Arshi Qureshi forced them to wait for additional inputs.
Arshi Qureshi was a member of Naik’s Islamic Research Foundation and was associated with other such works. He was arrested on Friday. “This arrest delayed the process. We are waiting for the ATS report. The information they provide to us will be incorporated in our probe report,” added another officer.
Zakir Naik is a tele-evangelist, who was regularly seen in Peace TV channel, addressing Islamic statements. With lakhs of audiences across the globe, Naik is quite popular among the youths. His speeches and related activity came under scanner after the Dhaka attack by terrorist group ISIS took place earlier this month.
