Aditi Rao Hydari to Shoot for Mani Ratnam’s Next, Learning Tamil for Her Role in the Film

Chennai: Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam has asked the Wazir actress to learn Tamil for his upcoming yet-to-be-named romantic drama. Since the movie is in Tamil, all the dialogues by Aditi will be in Tamil. Also, the actress will go for dubbing all her dialogues but director Mani has urged to ‘mouth her lines well.’
“Director Ratnam has asked Aditi to learn Tamil before the commencement of the shoot. While it’s not known whether she will dub her own lines, Ratnam sir is very particular that she learns the language and mouths her lines perfectly,” a source from the film unit said. Even the actress was also found replying to a Twitter conversation that she is now busy ‘in mugging Tamil dialogues.’

The untitled Mani Ratnam-film will start shooting from this year. The director will cast Hydari and Karthi, another A-listed Tamil actor, in the lead roles. Reports are that Karthi will play the role of a pilot while Aditi will be casted as his ladylove. The movie will have music by A.R.Rahman. “Rahman has already started working on the tunes. He’s said to have already completed a song,” sources said. The film is expected to release for big screens early on 2017.
However, this is not the first film of Hydari in Tamil. She is a prominent actress in Malayalam and Hindi too.  Karthi is also going through strict workshop sessions for the film.
