your bag and let’s celebrate the diversified monsoon season. The Indian monsoon
is just about to begin and is already experiencing some occasional
thunderstorms as prelude to that. So the enjoy the lush greens, get drenched in
rain, relish the cool breezy weather in the following destinations, places you
don’t want to miss at all.
1.Munnar, Kerala:
Munnar is considered as Kerala’s most beautiful travel
destinations among both- the domestic and international tourists. The
picturesque hill station, clad with tea garden and lush green, is apt to visit
in the monsoon. Coupled with mist, cloud, rains and green, Munnar is the place
to be in these wet months.
Well connected with trains and flights across India, Munnar

2.Shantiniketan, West
Bengal:

Shantiniketan is connected with train from both Howrah and Sealdah stations.

3. Panchgani,
Maharastra:
A high altitude place in Maharashtra, Panchgani is the
queen of Sahyadri Mountain ranges. The five villages, cordoning Pnchagani is

Godwali, Amral & Taighat, are bordered with Krishna River that flows

4. Malshej Ghat,
Maharashtra:
Again a hill station in Maharasthra at an altitude of 700

Malshej is the mountain pass of Western Ghats. Also, full with various types of
mountain flowers, animals and birds- Malshej is a year round tourist destination
with special charms in the monsoon.
Before you reach Malshej, be sure that you will not be able
to get all the facilities of a well settelled town. Since a very small
population, where the main source of income is the tourists, Malshej has few
resorts and hotels to stay at. Most of the accommodations are available at the
nearest village Madh.
5. Uttarakhand:
There are multiple places at Uttarakhand, in the lap of
Himalayas, to enjoy monsoon. Kausani is one of them. A hill station in
Uttarakhand, Kausani is a visual delight to tourists with snow clad mountains
like Trishul, Panchchuli and Nanda Devi.
A trekking location, Deoria tal is considered as one of the
most beautiful places in Uttarakhand. With the snow-capped peaks
of Chaukhamba, Nilkantha, Bandarpunch, Yellow Tooth, Kalanag and
Kedar Range- Deoria Tal is brimming with green.
With no luxury hotels in the area, guesthouses and lodges
are there to take shelter. Local foods and warm water are provided in all the
lodges at Uttarakhand.
