Rajinikanth’s Kabali Enters Rs. 200 Cr Club before Release

Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kabali not yet has hit the silver screens, but had entered into the Rs. 200 crore-club with the Karnataka theatrical rights and the viewership of the teaser of the movie. Reports are that viewers have ‘broke the Indian internet’ to take a look on the teaser that was released a month ago.

Rajinikanth’s Kabali had bought for record price by a distributor from Karnataka while others are struggling. Also, Kabali’s music rights are bought by Sony Music is an equally mammoth-like amount.
Kabali, which is scheduled to release on July 1, 2016, will be at theaters in four languages- Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam. Reports are that the movie will, at a time, run in 5000 screens approximately.
Directed by Pa. Ranjith, the film will have Radhika Apte, Dinesh Ravi, Kalaiyarasan and Dhansika in the lead roles apart from Rajinikanth. Also, Kabali will be the biggest ever worldwide release of an Indian film. Film analysts asserted Kabali as the ‘hottest film in the Indian film trade right now’. Their prediction about the film’s proficiency of entering into the Rs. 200 crore-club from trailer releases, merchandise and endorsement deals, have somehow came true.
Also, the makers of the film have decided to release Kabali at Malaysia also, in Malay language, observing Rajinikanth’s popularity and fan-following in the island country. With this, Kabali is the fist of its kind to be dubbed in Malay language, creating another record.
