Sridevi Turns School Teacher For New Film

New Delhi: Sridevi is set to play the role of a teacher in her upcoming film Mom, the shooting of which has been going on in New Delhi for about a month now.
She was spotted shooting in Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), dressed as a teacher in an immaculate white Salwar-Kameez. The college campus was made to look like a school because the actor plays a teacher of 'Green Field School' in the movie. She was there along with her husband and the film's producer, Boney Kapoor, and actor Akshaye Khanna, who plays a cop in the film. Sridevi was shooting in the parking lot of the college with Khanna, where kids were seen arriving in a yellow bus that had 'Green Field School' written on it.
The 52-year-old actor is playing a mother of two daughters, besides being a school teacher. Before shooting in North Campus, she was shooting in Film City, Noida, after the completion of which, she was seen shooting at an office in Gurgaon. The National Capital Region (NCR) has been playing host to many celebrities who have been shooting in Delhi lately. Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth and Raveena Tandon — all have been shooting in Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon for their upcoming films.
The shooting for Mom will wind up by April 8. Sridevi has reportedly asked all the shooting locations to be a ‘No Phone Zone’.

Sridevi was last seen in the 2012 critically acclaimed and commercial hit film English Vinglish.
