Dear Zindagi’s First Look Unveiled by Alia Bhatt on Twitter

Alia Bhatt shared a picture on Twitter saying it is the first look of Dear Zindagi, the upcoming project of Gauri Sindhe with Alia Bhat and Shah Rukh Khan in the lad roles.  The picture was posted along with a caption, saying: "Dear Zindagi, is it okay to not be okay?"

With both of the lead characters in the picture, a brief conversation between the two was also uploaded on Tuesday, giving a tiny hint of the course of the movie. With loads of speculations around the film, even about its name, the first look picture and the conversation gave a tiny hint about the film and the kind of roles the actors will play.

After English Vinglish in 2012, Dear Zindagi is Sindhe’s second movie based on a love-like equation, but not a ‘traditional love story’ between characters. Following the twitter post by Bhat, director Sindhe and co-producer Karan Johar announced the release date of the movie on November 25, 2016. Johar made another announcement on Twitter, saying that the Dear Zindagi’s movie poster will be out soon.

Reports are that SRK had earlier signed for playing a cameo role in the film, which later changed into playing the lead role. “Contrary to rumors, Shah Rukh is not playing the lead. He will only be seen in a cameo,” said a member of Dear Zindagi team.

Following the release of first look, an excited Alia has responded: "He’s in the film. I am doing the film with him. Don’t take it away from me."

Reports are that the film will have three more male characters apart from SRK, but the names are tightly sealed. Also, it is very likely that Alia will play the role of a filmmaker with Shah Rukh playing a role of a mentor.
